2.4 Internal and External Communication

YOUR ANSWER
One method DNG could use to share important information with its customers is emails. With emails, DNG's 6,500 employees can easily refer back if they forget the message, which can lead to more efficient utilization of resources and help achieve the business goal of expansion. However, when emails are sent by the managing director, it is hard to know whether this information has been received, understood and acted upon, as there is no opportunity for direct feedback which can lead to slow decision-making, and it will be hard to know if the business is achieving its objectives
Another method is the use of meetings, which provides direct feedback and two-way communication. This can lead to quick decision-making, and it can also help the business know if they are achieving their objectives and satisfying the 16 million customers with their electrical services. Although, it is hard to know whether some employees are paying attention in a big meeting, which can lead to increased mistakes in the production process and even customer disloyalty.
In conclusion, I think the method of communicationn that should be used is emails because it provides a permamanent record which employees can refer back to if they forget which will lead to efficient utilization of resources compared to meetings where some employees might forget what is said at them and might forget.
