Y2M employees will be demotivated if they are not paid the same wage rate as its competitors
This may result to higher absentee rate. If employees would leave, Y2M may have to recruit new employees and provide training. It would increase Y2M’s cost. New employees may also make more errors than experience employees. As such, Y2M should pay workers the same wage to prevent them from leaving so that Y2M break even quicker for each route.
