Adding new features to a product is good as the features may satisfy more consumer needs and wanst which can increase sales for the business. It can also create a unique edge over competitiors porduct thus increasing sales aswell. However increasing in advertising such as bilboards may be better as it is will allow the porduct to reach more potential customers hence increasing sales. I think that the extension strategy is to add new features to the product as they can do so and keep costs low as well as increse sales which can lead to more profit. It is better that advertising as advertising may be very expensive and may pay more on advertising than they receive from sales causing the business to not make a porfit and people may also not see the adverts meaning sales may not always increase
