YOUR ANSWER

On - the - job training: Learning on the job would mean that all the skills are learned would be specific to ECs manufacturing. This . However, productivity of the trainers would not be working as effeicently and so the average cost per unit would increase.

Off - the - job: This would be benefitial as teaching from outside of the business could teach the employees many different skills which woud allow them to use throughout the car production line. However, this can be costly and take away from th $200m needed for the new production of electric cars.

Reccomandation: I belive the EC should use off the job training as because all the 2000 workers need to be retrained for the new machinary, they do not have the skills required to do on - the - job training. Using off-the-job training would also allow the nessary skills for the new machinary and would prevent errors in the future and ensure future effeciency. This will help keep ECs reputation of high quality cars.
